Mechanical Engineer
with expertise in commercial, residential, or industrial
mechanical systems, mechanical equipment, and mechanical component design and failure analysis . This remote role requires working in a variety of environments and a combination of travel (local or regional). To investigate events, systems, devices, and/or failures and provide expert opinions; to provide guidance and leadership ethically and scientifically on complex engineering assignments; to contribute to overall profitability of the company through providing expert/engineering consulting services.Are You An Ideal Candidate?

Conduct field investigations and failure analysis of mechanical systems and components.Inspect losses and loss scenes at various types of buildings.Investigate and assess damages and evidence due to failures.Analyze and document the failure analysis and causation of failures.Examine and test evidence in a laboratory setting.Collaborate with other experts to produce detailed reports.Serve as an expert witness in court and/or depositions.Document and maintain billable hours for projects.Education and Licensing:
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university.Professional Engineering (PE) license required; multi-state licensing preferred.Expert witness testimony experience is a plus.NEXT STEPS:
