Advisor, Legal, Dispute Resolution

To work directly with the Dispute Resolution Team to fulfill their role of managing the litigation portfolio of the HoldCo and other subsidiaries. In addition to this, the incumbent is expected to ensure support for the legal risk management function for the HoldCo and other subsidiaries.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelors-in-Law from a university as well as the Nigerian Law School required. Proof of payment of the annual lawyer’s practicing fee required.4 – 8 years in the Legal Services Department of a financial institution or a reputable law firm.Proven experience in dispute resolution and the provision of legal advice, drafting, vetting, review, dissemination and/or negotiation, with at least 5 years' experience within the legal and/or financial sectors. Identification and mitigation of legal risk.
