As a logistics manager, you know that every program relies on clearly defined management processes to work. Your understanding of Mobility Systems, Hazardous Declarations, Safety, and Injury Prevention programs is critical to ensuring the integrity of the mission. We’re looking for a logistics engineer like you to apply your engineering and process improvement expertise to develop tools for various DoD projects and experimentation. Using your knowledge of International Standardization for organization, purchasing policy, and programs, you’ll help coordinate all system elements and ensure long-lasting integration and sustainment.As a logistics engineer on our Command-and-Control team, you’ll provide expertise in implementing reporting metrics for procurement actions and client service. You’ll use your findings to create a path forward that meets design requirements and ensures functionality. Your experience with Inventory Control, Warehouse Distribution Management, DOT regulations, ISPM-15, Microsoft Office Suite, and Operational Risk Management (ORM) is essential to ensuring quality when designing mission-critical solutions.In this role, you’ll use your engineering logistics and materials expertise to contribute to the safety of the warfighter. You’ll partner with senior team members and apply your skills in root-cause analysis and process improvement resolution. The world can’t wait.You Have:3+ years of experience with military logistics and supply operationsExperience with warehouse distribution software and inventory controlKnowledge of equipment readiness reporting and accountabilityKnowledge of DOT regulationsKnowledge of project management and effective methods to plan, organize, analyze, and forecast workforce, training, and supply requirementsAbility to manage multiple project components simultaneouslyAbility to obtain a Secret clearanceBachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience working with the military, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience working with the militaryNice If You Have:Experience coordinating with vendors to ensure that hardware and external resources necessary to complete tasks are availableExperience with security cooperationAbility to establish baselines and change control for conducting configuration audits, status accounting, and reviews on hardware and softwareClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Compensation:At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
