Community Manager ’s main duty is to create and manage programming at an office property to enhance the experience for tenants and visitors in order to create a sense of community on the property. The chosen candidate will oversee conference and event space.The ideal candidate has a hospitable and creative personality reinforced with an exceptional business acumen and tech-savviness. This position will not only plan meetings and professional conferences, but also exciting social and networking events. Additionally, this position will manage the admin portal of the property app, manage property social media accounts, and create internal marketing collateral.Another goal for this position is to provide exemplary concierge services for tenants and building management by serving as an informational resource for the property – arranging events, meetings, services, gifts and reservations. The Community Manager is also responsible for accurate reports detailing client requests and billing of services to the tenants and client.JOB DUTIESApp Implementation and ManagementPartner with app developer to design and implement property-wide appSupervise app implementation and ensure deadlines are metProvide content and feedback to app developer in a timely mannerGive status updates for app development to XM Corporate staff and client on a specified cadenceReview building app often for brand consistencyCreate and maintain app content in-line with luxury brand standardsMarket and promote app usage among tenants, residents, guests, etc.Tenant EngagementCreate property programming with the goal of creating a property-wide sense of inclusion and communityMaintain property programming budgetManage and schedule building amenities (ie. conference space, rooftop terrace, tenant lounge, etc.)Curate unique and worthwhile activations in public and private event space in conjunction with onsite retailers at timesSpecial event planning for meetings and events occurring at the property for clients and tenants directly - can be large-scaleAssist property management team in creating welcome collateral and events for new tenantsRespond to in-person, phone and email requests from tenants and assist in providing guidance and information to tenants in a timely mannerManage property social media sitesDesign and copywrite internal marketing messaging and collateral for property programming and events including digital and printed communicationsAct as a building ambassador and engage tenants to participate in building programmingPlan robust program within property budgetNegotiate contracts with area vendors for best price, product and serviceWork with Experience Management corporate team to grow a local Preferred Vendor listStay current on knowledge of local events and cultural attractions.Other concierge-related requests, as neededOther reports, duties, meetings TBDContract File Administration:Keep up to date status of all contracts for events, preferred vendors, non-preferred vendors, etc.Distribute inner office memos as directedCoordinate appropriate labor for all events and as directedCoordinate security as directedSecure insurance certifications (COI) as directedFile all correspondence as directedConfirm payment is received prior to all eventsSKILLS AND APTITUDESExperienced in marketing and event planningCreatively produce ideas to develop bespoke programs to engage various demographics and interestsAbility to engage tenants and visitors to participate in events and programmingPossesses foresight to organize event logistics up to 3000 attendeesEye for clean, concise marketing collateralSuperior knowledge of local cultural, dining, and entertainment venues, and ability to match client and tenant desires to the appropriate venueAble to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, accommodating and communicating to a broad range of clientele with varied needsMotivated self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervisionProactive, approachable and solution-focusedProfessional demeanor and appearanceStrong planning and organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsTakes initiative and anticipates needs of othersCommitment to company valuesKnowledgeable on Microsoft Office, iOS functions, marketing or graphic design software, and digital technologyEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experienceAt least three years’ experience in marketing and event planning, including VIP guest servicePrevious concierge or VIP retail experience highly-preferredExpert-level knowledge of the local area, including current dining, retail, and entertainment trendsLocation:
