ResponsibilitiesKey Accountabilities:Implements fabrication, assembly, or installation manufacturing plans by coordinating with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams.Demonstrates configuration control of the hardware within the manufacturing build plan.Understands the application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards of industry practices.Develops tooling, interchangeability, replacement, and functional test plans.Defines sequences of events, develops text and graphics work instructions, manufacturing datasets, tooling requirements, and manufacturing bills of material using the established manufacturing process flow.Communicates with engineering teams to influence and clarify design concepts, optimizes processes, and addresses producibility issues, production, and post-production problems.Coordinates with a variety of other organizations.Applies process knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Composite non-metallic, Machining, Sheet metal, and Structures.Some experience with CATIA V5, SAP, Right Hemisphere, or equivalent.Must be willing to work in the manufacturing environment.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 2-4 years of Manufacturing Engineering/planning experience.Strong to excellent SAP knowledge.Strong to excellent general computing skills.Self-starter who can take a project from start to finish and has a willingness to work with all disciplines to accomplish a goal.High School Diploma or GED.Preferred Qualifications:Computer skills: MS Office suite, SAP, Catia.Experience with manufacturing engineering.Aircraft knowledge and manufacturing experience.Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, PL’s, and Specifications.Experience with Catia programs.Bachelor's degree is highly preferred but not required.Spirit AeroSystems is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected factor under federal, state, or local law.
