Hybrid (Fort Collins, CO/ Home Office)Role SummaryIn this highly visible role, the Global Trade Compliance Analyst plays an integral part in establishing, monitoring, and ensuring all Church and Dwight products and brands are compliant with the ever-changing import and export environment. Reporting into the Director, Global Trade Compliance and Operations, this analyst role will be the subject matter expert on domestic and international trade compliance. They will support the day-to-day activities surrounding compliance with imports and exports, manage the comprehensive lists of classifications, country of origins, and duty fees associated with transacting globally, and ensure adherence of proper procedures are followed with external parties, such as brokers. This role will engage cross functionally with Legal, Finance, and Logistics and requires collaboration both internally and externally.Role Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesEnsure import compliance procedures in each of the five pillars are fully implemented and followedMaintain Tariff Classification database and ensure accuracy in ERP systemAssist with determining Schedule B numbersConduct Valuation Review AuditsConduct annual trainings for stakeholders on ValuationConduct three-point reviews of product shipments to confirm accuracy of quantities and values being declaredDetermine correct Country of Origin and apply across all SKU’sConduct Free Trade Agreement assessmentsManage Retention of import records per CBP regulationsManage daily communication and oversight of Brokers, including any process or compliance changesConduct post entry reviewsAssist with responding to Customs inquiries or noticesManage Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) accountEvaluate, recommend, and implement process improvements around the Global Trade Compliance programADHOC reporting as requestedEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.Customs Broker License preferred.Subject Matter Expert in Global Trade Compliance.Advanced knowledge of SAP, Oracle, PowerBi, Excel and CBP portals such as ACE.Ability to analyze data, develop recommendations and drive for results.Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and be able to adhere to deadlines.A combination of 5-7+ years’ experience across Import / Export Compliance including Free Trade Agreements, Tariff Classification, CBP Regulations, Country of Origin.Operating Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDesire and motivation to independently own areas of responsibility.Strong interpersonal skills and influencing skills are critical for success.The job requires advanced skills in analytics, organization, planning, and the ability to react quickly to changing priorities.Must be able to make quick decisions with limited information in a fast-paced environment.Ability to effectively communicate across all levels within the organization as well as externally with partners.Other Qualifications & Physical RequirementsTravel; approximately 15% including overnight.Hybrid ---preferred office location at Fort Collins, COReporting Relationship:
