Purpose of Role

The Jr. Business Analyst is responsible for understanding end-to-end business processes and will have the functional capabilities to troubleshoot Tier 1 types of issues and system fixes. The Jr. Business Analyst manages tickets and is the first source point for communicating, updating documents, and training materials. Empower JD Edwards users through creating robust, scalable, and comprehensive training program development and maintenance.

Areas Of Accountabilities

JDE Training and User OnboardingCollaborate with consultant to build self-service training modules to identify missing training documentationCreate training documentation in adherence to JDE Training StandardCommunicate new training availability to all stakeholders and aide in onboarding processesFacilitate JDE tests, approve user access, and notify users of additional training requirementsIdentify knowledge gaps and create training as neededIdentify modules that will require changes in the LMS for new JDE functionality and enhancements and update documentation of all presentation materials and knowledge checkpointsFacilitate training and support for Users on changed processes

User SupportAnalyze break/fix issues to identify functional solutions and validate success with UsersResponsible for assigning and prioritizing JDE issuesMaintain documentation log of solutions for future referenceCreate and maintain user-friendly training documentation based on recurring issuesEscalate to Manager of Financial Systems for Tier 2, customization, or developmentCollaborate with other departments for break-fix solutions as needed

Customer Service ExcellenceMonitor Jira JDE Project for new ticketsRespond in accordance with defined SLAsKeep JDE tickets updated with progressDocument resolution to JDE tickets within tickets and link appropriate documentationFollow-up with users after resolution to ensure full satisfactionGenerate JDE tickets from user requests received outside of JiraMonitor JDE Support Email boxRespond, Categorize, and convert to JDE ticket as requiredEngage with users’ posts in Teams

JDE Configuration Upgrades, Enhancements, or ModificationsParticipate in system upgradesAssist in planning and testingPost go-live support, including cross-functional collaboration with User Support

Knowledge, Skills, And Experience

Bachelor’s degree required or relevant JDE experienceMinimum 3 years of experience in the Distribution, Sales, or Manufacturing Applications of JD Edwards 9.2Strong business process knowledge of Distribution, Sales, or Manufacturing functional areasStrong organizational, coordination, facilitation, consultation, and conflict resolution skillsStrong leadership skillsAbility to work well in a team environmentAble to accurately define the key elements of complex and ambiguous situations to effectively solve problemsShows considerable business insight to support the organization’s goalsCan make good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forwardDemonstrated ability to communicate clearly across all levels of the organizationAbility to create and maintain a mission-driven culture supported and reinforced by the company’s five core values: Family, Service, Growth, Intrapreneurship, and InnovationTravel: Minimum of 20% via airplane

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Rehrig Pacific, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,000.00 to $95,000.00.
