Apply Now!Your OpportunityOur team members receive industry-competitive salaries and are eligible for great benefits packages:Competitive PayAnnual Bonus Earning PotentialComprehensive Health Insurance, Retirement Benefits and MoreEducation benefit available to full and part time Smithfield team members on their first day of employment.In addition, we offer opportunities for career growth, professional development, and tuition assistance.The Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst will be responsible for developing and conducting indirect sourcing projects including but not limited to RFx data management, data analysis, spend reporting, market analysis, bid analysis and overall supporting the strategic sourcing facility services team in day-to-day tasks for the categories of Laundry/Uniforms, Waste Hauling, Office Supplies, Janitorial, and other facility services categories specific to Smithfield.ResponsibilitiesAssist in strategy development and execute sourcing strategies for facility services, accounting for market dynamics, cost drivers, risk management, and internal requirements.Analyze procurement data, market trends, and supplier performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing sourcing strategies.Lead RFx activities, such as, collecting requirements, bid publication, collection, analysis, and awards.Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers that align with quality standards, cost efficiency, and organizational goals.Conduct comprehensive market analysis, forecasting, competitive benchmarking, and industry analysis to identify emerging opportunities or risks.Work on projects to identify cost reduction opportunities, analyze cost structures, and contribute to cost savings and avoidance targets.Manage contract lifecycles, ensuring agreements are accurately documented, reviewed, and renewed as needed.Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations for management.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies in all sourcing activities.Travel to supplier facilities as well as Smithfield production facilities to gain education on facility services processes.QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 5+ years' relevant analytical experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.Experience sourcing facility services (e.g., Laundry/Uniforms, Waste Hauling, Janitorial), strongly preferred.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.Deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, market volatility, and risk management strategies within commodity markets.Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Established proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.Experience with e-sourcing tools such as Workday Strategic Sourcing, preferred.Proven problem solving and decision-making skills, analytical and interpersonal skills.Must be able to travel up to 10-20% of the time.EEO/AA InformationSmithfield is an equal opportunity employer committed to workplace diversity.
