OnsiteNightwing is seeking a cleared and experienced Procurement Specialist in support of USG in the Dulles, VA area to provide direct support to Customer requirements for products/services. The role involves utilizing Nightwing and Customer systems for the identification, procurement, tracking, and reporting of requested products/services. Responsibilities include:Providing detailed reports to support Customer requirements on cost, budget, status, etc.Sourcing, negotiating, awarding, and documenting purchases for materials, services, and supplies.Compiling and analyzing data to perform price analysis and reviewing proposals to establish price objectives.Supporting early supplier identification and engagement for new business pursuits.Utilizing source selection techniques (best value, Total Cost of Ownership, etc.), performing cost analyses, conducting negotiations, and identifying supplier risks.Providing risk and opportunity analysis for early capture as it relates to the introduction of new suppliers.Ensuring requirements (prime contract, quality, terms and conditions) are communicated to suppliers.Managing supplier performance to cost, schedule, and quality requirements.Interfacing with internal and supplier cross-functional organizations.Compiling and analyzing information to stay informed on industry trends and manufacturing processes.Assisting in the development of bids and agreements.Executing customer requirements including government regulations, public law, and Nightwing policies and procedures.Required Skills:Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiating skills.Ability to keep detailed accountability records, including budgets and inventory.Ability to complete all tasks independently, as well as in a team environment.Moderate understanding of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.).Understanding/use of Customer logistics/procurement systems/software and processes.Desired Skills:5+ years of supply chain management experience, either in logistics and/or procurement.5+ years of inventory and property control experience.Ability to confidently communicate and develop relationships with Customer(s) and vendors.Additional Requirements:Additional Technical and Specialty Training/Certifications.Experience Required: 5+ Years.Education Level/Major: High School diploma or above.Equivalent Experience cannot be Substituted for Educational Requirement.Must have TS/SCI security clearance with Poly on day one and be eligible for crossover.About Nightwing:Nightwing became independent in 2024 but continues to support the nation’s most mission-impactful initiatives.
