Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.The Land & Air Defense Systems Strategic Business Unit Team has a great opportunity for an experienced Procurement Professional/Subcontract Manager in a highly collaborative role where you will have the opportunity to lead in the sourcing and acquisition of materials and services, manage supplier performance and the entire purchase order life cycle (requirements including supplier development, requirement solicitations, Purchase Order award, post-award management, and closeout activities) for DoD, FMS, and DCS customers within the procurement team. You will manage several supplier relationships necessary to support various programs for the factory material needs.What You Will Do:

Preparation and issuance of RFP’sPlace purchase orders of medium complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements for various complex subcontract (Cost Type, Incentive Type, Firm Fixed, etc.).Support negotiation strategies and formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, scope, Terms & Conditions).Perform price and cost analysis techniques in support of proposals.Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors.Work closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, Program Management, etc) to achieve objectives.Maintain PO's to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information.Qualifications you Must Have:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience.Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or similar role.The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer:

SAP/PRISM based environment experienceExperience with technical requirements of procured hardware and service – including Statement of Work (SOW) reviewKnowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price etc.)What We Offer:
