Apply locations US - Portsmouth, NHTime type: Full timePosted on: Posted 4 Days AgoJob Requisition ID: R62184Business Intelligence Analyst II (US2367)Job Description:The Business Intelligence Analyst II is a versatile role which works closely alongside other data experts, such as Architects or Engineers, to deliver data and analytics solutions; primarily in the form of dashboards, reports and KPIs.The BI Analyst II frequently interacts with stakeholders across the organization to gather and translate business and technical requirements into impactful data solutions which support business objectives or address business challenges.In addition to the primary function of data analysis, the BI Analyst II has the opportunity to gain exposure and experience with other aspects of the data development lifecycle; such as with data integration or architecture.The BI Analyst II is primarily working on projects of mid-level complexity and impact and may lean on others more often for direction or guidance.Develop and implement impactful Business Intelligence solutions; primarily in the form of dashboards, reports and KPIs.Leverage and analyze data from across the organization to provide meaningful insights to business stakeholders and to improve business processes, operational efficiency and decision making.Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for internal BI applications; which may include standard administrative duties.Maintain and enhance existing Business Intelligence solutions and develop ways to capture data in an efficient and scalable manner.Collaborate with architects, developers and other stakeholders on the design and implementation of impactful analytics solutions.Implement or update data integration solutions of low-to-mid level complexity to support analytics objectives.Mentor business stakeholders on proper data visualization techniques and best practices.Work closely with Business stakeholders to identify opportunities to apply data to improve operations or support business needs.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.Advanced understanding and application of BI and analytics platforms and related concepts.Expert at visualizing data that promotes action and ease of understanding.Ability to gather and translate business and technical requirements into impactful data solutions.Advanced knowledge of data integration patterns, methods and tools with the ability to apply that knowledge to support analytics objectives.Ability to adapt to a complex and dynamic business environment and deliver solutions.Experience identifying and recommending analytics tools, metrics and visualizations to monitor and improve business process performance, operational efficiency and decision making.Experience working with data governance, data ownership, risk and compliance programs.Advanced knowledge and application of database and data integration (e.g. ETL) tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to lead others.Strong collaboration and relationship building skills with the ability to influence.Experience working in an Agile Development environment and working knowledge of project management and process improvement tools (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Techniques).Technical Skills:Database Tools – SQL, MySQL, SSMS, SSRS, etc.Business Intelligence Platforms – Looker, PowerBI, or similar.Microsoft 365 – Office (Excel, PPT, Visio), PowerApps, etc.Data Integration: ETL/ELT, Data Virtualization, Data Warehousing, etc.Value Add, but not required:Proficiency in other relevant program languages, such as R, Python, and C#.Statistical Analysis and related tools / technologies.
