This position is located in the Office of Rewards for Justice (RFJ), Directorate of Threat Investigations and Analysis (TIA), Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS). You will be assigned responsibility within the Source Management Group (SMG) and be required to provide technical research and analytical expertise, guidance, and support to RFJ activities with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Central Intelligence Agency, Department of Defense, and other interagency (IA) partners.Applicants must meet all the required qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.NOTE:

Applicants must meet time-in-grade and time after competitive appointment requirements by the closing date of this announcement.Time-In-Grade Requirements:

Federal applicants must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade to satisfy time-in-grade restrictions, per 5CFR 300, Subpart F.Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.

Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:Experience utilizing the theories/principles of intelligence collection, counterintelligence and related disciplines in order to analyze and evaluate foreign intelligence threats and counterintelligence issues.Experience assessing the relevancy and implications of intelligence and counterintelligence developments in a geographic area.Experience preparing intelligence reports and delivering briefings on intelligence/counterintelligence issues.Experience interacting with and maintaining relationships with members of the intelligence community in order to obtain/exchange foreign intelligence information and issues.There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-13 position.
