We are seeking an Associate to support the Business Managers (BMs) within the Internal Audit Department. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the BMs in resource management, business management, talent management, and operations for their business line. We are looking for a junior business manager to support global BMs in execution of day-to-day tasks.

In the Audit division, we provide senior management an objective and independent assessment of the Firm's internal control environment for risk management and governance. This is an Associate level position within Internal Operations and Quality Control, which is responsible for efficient and effective functioning of the department, supporting the ultimate delivery of high-quality assurance services.

Location : Baltimore, MD (Hybrid 3x per week in office)

What you'll do in the role :Central support to the BM function in the execution of their deliverables within their daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc tasks to execute the IAD strategy.Support the monitoring and tracking of the annual audit plan and change program.Coordinate with the BMs to produce IAD presentations for stakeholders.Ensure a quality control framework is accurately applied while promoting a culture for efficiencies in IAD BM processes.Drive effective communication and information exchange within the BMs, including their IAD groups and stakeholders.Recommend enhancements to IAD processes and reporting to ensure continuous improvement to overall IAD reporting and metrics production.Support global initiatives relating to management reporting for the COO team, including onboarding, training, and development tracking.

What you'll bring to the role :Skills RequiredAt least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables while meeting deadlines.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.Highly motivated and enthusiastic self-starter with ability to work autonomously, as needed.Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.Team player with the ability to collaborate with others, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and adapt style to audience.

Skills Desired2-3 years of administration, reporting, project management, business management, or related experience.Audit, financial, or regulatory experience within the financial services industry.Bachelor's degree in business, finance accounting, or related field.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $91,000 and $110,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
