Sr. Manager of Chain Analytics & Improvement

leads a team of capable employees to support end-to-end supply chain analysis and process improvement. This role involves developing data analytical capabilities to understand trends and test narratives, creating Master Data Management elements to capture and segment data into actionable information, and leading Continuous Improvement concepts across planning, purchasing, warehouse/logistics, master data, and systems work streams to decrease ideation-to-result cycle times. The incumbent is also responsible for creating and managing network KPI reporting and scorecarding to departmental goals and performance, as well as assisting with supply chain budgeting and forecasting.The role:Develop and lead a team of analysts to establish, maintain and analyze divisional data.Model alternatives proposing best outcomes within initiatives and supply practices.Analyze current outcomes to clearly understand opportunities for improvement across the supply side functionalities.Assist in and support the long-term planning, strategy, and business change management processes across the Supply Chain function.Lead complex multisite cross-functional initiatives through change management in pursuit of our world-class vision.Analyze data extracts from varied systems and databases within current and future scaled business tools and systems to solve problems and propose solutions.Assist in prioritizing initiatives to meet divisional goals through defining benefits, specific improvement steps, milestones, and lead times.Leverage Lean and Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement concepts and techniques to guide teams through focused improvement initiatives.Create “Plan vs Actual” tracking of key milestones and data points throughout our processes, reporting outcomes and suggesting focused prioritized improvements.Assist in budgeting and forecasting of rolled-up multi-site supply chain operations.The candidate:5-8 years of Master Data Management and Supply Chain experience in Medical Products/Pharma/Biotech Industry required.Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required; MBA or M.S. in a related field preferred.Database management and creation skills.Strong background in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, and LEAN principles; LSSBB or LSSMBB highly preferred.Data extraction, organization, visualization, and reporting capabilities.Project Management/Project control experience.Commercial and Clinical experience within a CDMO organization.Strong Analytical skills.Excellent presentation and communication skills.Ability to influence through data and clear outcome analyses.JD Edwards experience a plus.Understanding of Supply Chain Concepts/Acumen.Excellent Microsoft data analysis capabilities (Excel expertise, PowerBI capable, PowerPoint).Strong follow-up, facilitation, and escalation skills.Catalent offers rewarding opportunities to further your career!
