Audit Quality Assurance Analyst
Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting, and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking an Audit Quality Assurance Analyst for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.
Responsibilities:
Assists with the expansion and completion of quality assurance reviews for internal audit, including audit workpapers, project files, risk assessments, and reporting the results.
Examine and report on the internal audit activity to ensure compliance with Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards, industry, regulatory, department, corporate standards and guidance, and Code of Ethics.
Develops reports regarding the effectiveness of the internal audit department.
Fosters valuable staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings and trainings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (4-year accredited college).
4+ years of related internal audit experience preferred.
Solid understanding of internal audit practices.
Knowledgeable on industry best practices.
High level of tact.
Capacity to communicate complex and potentially sensitive issues to various levels of management.
Microsoft Office suite.
TeamMate + preferred.
Professional certification (CIA or CPA preferred; or ability to obtain within 24 months of hire).
