Summary:As a Quality Software Assurance Analyst at Recuro health, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of our telehealth products. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, identify and track defects, and continuously improve our testing processes. Your work will help us maintain the highest standards of software quality and compliance in the telehealth industry.Responsibilities:Help establish and continuously enhance testing processes and practices to improve software quality and team productivity.Ensure that software complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices for telehealth applications.Provide regular reports on testing activities, defect status, and overall quality metrics to stakeholders.Assist in user acceptance testing and verify incoming user issues.Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand software requirements and acceptance criteria.Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies, including the identification of test objectives, scope, approach, and resources required.Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test scripts based on requirements.Perform different types of testing, such as functional, non-functional, regression, performance, usability, and security testing.Identify, document, and track defects. Collaborate with product managers and developers to resolve issues.Core Competencies:Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex software requirements and translate them into effective test plans and cases. Qualifications:Proficiency in software testing tools and Scrum MethodologyExperience with exploratory testing and risk-based testing approachesFamiliarity with object-oriented programming and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript)Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, ArgoCD)Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsBachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceDesirable Qualifications:Understanding of telehealth and healthcare software applicationsUnderstanding of Healthcare Technology Standards and Regulations (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.)

Location Preferences:This role is open to Remote, but our preference for an ideal candidate would be hybrid with at least 1-2 days in office each week to work directly with our Engineering Team in our Minneapolis Office.Successful applicants must be eligible to work in the US (visa sponsorship is not provided at this time) and must be able to pass a pre-employment background test.
