The Lead Business Analyst role is responsible for leading the identification, evaluation, and design of technology-based business solutions to solve complex business problems. They partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business processes, workflows, data models, and other system artifacts. This role will identify and drive opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements and leads the team responsible for developing functional and technical specifications that define system requirements and articulate how systems will meet business goals. The incumbent is also responsible for overseeing the application of system settings and options. The incumbent supervises the planning and execution of testing to ensure new or modified systems meet business requirements. The incumbent is proficient in software development lifecycle methodologies and has a strong understanding of system testing and quality assurance principles. They are an expert in database management, SQL, web development technologies, and packaged software applications. They will be a leader within the team responsible for process modeling and requirements gathering and leverage their technical expertise to evaluate third-party solutions or technologies that support business process improvements. The incumbent is responsible for providing final approval that system documentation, such as process diagrams, data dictionaries, user manuals, and training materials, are accurate and up-to-date.

Oversee requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts and devise strategies for development of journey maps and personas to ultimately help solve business challenges and capitalize on opportunitiesReview business processes, workflows, data models, and other artifacts to validate the current and future states of business systems and identify areas for improvement and potential risks to the organizationLead development of functional specifications for new or modified systems, processes, and procedures to meet business requirements, and provide guidance as neededCollaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, data analysts, and testers to ensure new systems or changes to existing systems meet the defined business requirements, are delivered timely, and within budget, all while providing strategic recommendations as neededOversee the application of system settings and options to meet business goals, and manage the planning and execution of system testingUtilize industry expertise and knowledge of leading practices to recommend existing third-party solutions or technologies to achieve business process improvementsManage system documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness, such as process diagrams, data dictionaries, user manuals, and training materialsLead and mentor the team and provide strategic recommendations for system optimization and performance improvements to ultimately drive system quality and enhancementsMonitor industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend to the business potential opportunities to improve existing business systems and processesOversee training sessions for end-users, as needed

EducationRequiredBachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Systems, or in lieu of a degree, at least 9 years of experience in the field of business systems analysis or IT (work experience or a combination of education and work experience in the field of business systems analysis or IT)PreferredCertified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT)Knowledge and ExperienceRequired6-8 years of experience in business systems analysis and design with a deep understanding of software development methodologiesExtensive knowledge of Oracle Cloud implementations in Planning, Manufacturing, or InventoryExtensive knowledge of business and technical operations, workflows, and proceduresExcellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders and vice versaIn-depth knowledge of tools, techniques, and leading practices related to data analysis, coding, and automationExtensive knowledge of database structures and data management principlesPreferredImplementation experience with Oracle Cloud Process ManufacturingExperience with Integrations between Oracle Cloud and other cloud / non-cloud systemsExperience writing OTBI reportsTechnical SkillsSoftware Development Lifecycle (SDLC) MethodologyBusiness Requirement Gathering & DocumentationSoftware Testing & Quality Assurance Methodologies & ToolsUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)Process ModelingWorkflow ManagementData AnalysisThis position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, including conversion to H-1B visa.This position is eligible to work in the office three days a week and has the option to work remotely two days a week.
