Overview

In this position, you will work closely with clients to establish solutions to make them successful, broaden the effect of GIS technology to their business, and help shape the evolution of the platform by identifying new implementation patterns. You will provide solutions and thought leadership while promoting the use of Esri technology to enable customer success and support its development and growth into new domains by working closely with industry experts throughout the company.This team supports our Utilities clients. You will be part of a talented cross-functional team of dynamic and passionate Consultants and Project Managers to deliver solutions that enable our customers to make a difference in communities around the world. You will be part of a delivery team that implements critical technologies that improve quality, reliability and accessibility to data and geospatial capabilities.The Professional Services division is the consulting and implementation arm of Esri. Help clients translate real-world needs into practical, state-of-the-art, GIS technology-driven solutions through the implementation of Esri's enterprise GIS technologyWork with clients to prepare multi-year GIS implementation and migration strategiesCollect, organize, and present client requirements, objectives, and business workflows to translate into meaningful and actionable strategies and plansAnalyze and interpret business and technical problems and distill them into manageable and practical solutions or tasksProvide GIS technical guidance and adviceLead project teams during requirements, analysis, design, build, and rolloutCreate and manage the scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables through planning, tracking, quality assurance, change control, and risk managementManage projects ranging from small focused technical transfer engagements to large enterprise implementations of mission-critical systemsTrack project performance and report on statusManage subcontractorsManage client relationships and expectationsWork with Esri's marketing and sales teams to develop new businessRequirements

8+ years of significant, proven experience applying GIS technology within electric and gas utilities sectorDomain expertise throughout the electric and gas utilities market including electric and/or gas distribution and transmissionExperience with Esri products to solve complex business problemsFamiliarity with RDBMS and geodatabase design techniques and conceptsDemonstrated professional experience applying electric and gas utilities GIS data management frameworksKnowledge of software development methodologiesAbility to develop project designs, work plans, budgets, and schedulesExperience with desktop, client/server, and Internet applications, and architecturesExcellent interpersonal, writing, presentation, and leadership skillsBachelor's information systems, GIS, computer science, or relevant fieldRecommended Qualifications

Experience in the integration of ArcGIS with common utility enterprise systems, such as: asset management, work management, network analysis, Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS), Outage Management Systems (OMS), customer information, and document management systemsKnowledgeable of utility workflows and how they are applied through GIS, such as: facility management (AM/FM), right-of-way corridor planning, engineering, design, construction, inspection, network analysis, integration with other systems, and market analysisAbility to lead and manage consulting and software development teamsMaster's degree information systems, GIS, computer science, or relevant fieldTotal Rewards

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $93,600-$187,200 USDThe Company
