The Department of Pharmacy, consistent with the mission of Johns Hopkins Medicine, places a priority on teaching, research and patient care. At Johns Hopkins Hospital, the department is responsible for providing acute care pharmacy services for a diverse population of medical and surgical patients, with additional services provided within the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center and affiliated clinics. Within the department, there are 45 acute care and primary care clinical pharmacy specialists as well as 31 general and specialized pharmacy residents.

The Investigational Drug Service (IDS) Pharmacy division at The Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) is recruiting for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as

Oncology IDS Operations Manager . This position will provide oversight of Oncology IDS operations in both Weinberg Oncology Pharmacy and the Viragh-1 Oncology IDS Pharmacy. This management position provides oversight for Oncology IDS operations, staffing, and protocol support for clinical trial teams and care for research participants. The Operations Manager is responsible for daily management of all operational activities, human resource functions, supervisory oversight for pharmacists and technicians, overseeing protocols, and working collaboratively with other pharmacy divisions.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in a Pharm D. or BS degree.A minimum of one year of hospital experience with responsibility for the supervision of pharmacy personnel and/or IDS experience is highly desired.Completion of an ASHP-accredited residency program or equivalent relevant experience is desired.Current licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Maryland is required.Intravenous (IV) Certification (includes aseptic technique and hazardous substance handling) within 90 days upon hire.Hospital and departmental education requirements are completed within 90 days of hire.
