THE AUTOMOTIVE FLEET AND COMMERCIAL SALES CONSULTANT IS VITALLY IMPORTANT!
The Fleet and Commercial Sales Consultant is integral in setting the tone for our business customers’ journey from the showroom to the road. Your ability to connect, guide, and showcase the exceptional quality of our vehicles directly impacts our brand reputation, creates memorable customer experiences, drives sales, and builds the trust our customers place in the Uftring Auto Group.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and build relationships with business prospects and current fleet and commercial customers through regular contact
Market commercial vehicles through electronic advertising, print advertisement and face-to-face contacts
Position self as a consultant for a business customer over multiple contacts
Connect with decision-makers within the business environment
Write vehicle specifications and proposals
Calculate the cost of products and services
Work with sublet suppliers to accurately spec commercial vehicles to fit needs
Submit bids for contract and municipal bid opportunities
Inspect vehicles prior to delivery
Build relationships and referral business after the sale
Establish goals and set plan to meet goals
QUALITIES FOR SUCCESS
Must read and understand technical material
Have a thorough understanding of the organization's products and services
Have a thorough understanding of the organization's inventory
Must possess a professional, outgoing demeanor with good grammar and communication skills
Must be goal oriented and able to meet established goal
Possess a valid IL driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
