Building Enclosure Consultant - Project Manager

They have built up a reputation over the years as being the go to for building enclosure consulting having delivered industry leading solutions for clients across all 50 states.A reputation for their family oriented culture and work life balance, they are known in the industry for their approach in putting their employees first allowing them to attract some of the best names in the industry and having and above average tenure of over 10 years amongst staff, they are the company you go to, to retire.Role OverviewYou will be required to carry out field tests and investigations on exterior systems, including but not limited to, facades, upright walls, roofing, waterproofing and fenestration.You will manage clients and provide reports and recommendations back to them in a timely and accurate manner, being their main point of contact, fielding any queries and technical questions they may have.Roles & ResponsibilitiesParticipation on projects relating to building envelope, including facades, roofing and waterproofing, conducting field tests and and quality observationsConducting field investigations on facades and fenestrationProvide recommendations based on the aboveDeep understanding of repair and restoration of exterior systemsAccurately and timely responses to all technical questionsExperience with commercial structures and concrete restorationRequirementsA relevant bachelors or masters degree in an engineering, architectural or construction fieldPE or RA license preferredIIBEC credentials preferredAt least 8 years of relevant industry experienceRelevant building envelope experience in facades and upright wallsAssessment experience on existing structures and buildingsIn depth knowledge of all relevant building systemsWilling and able to travel across multiple statesGood computer and communication skills
