Vitreoretinal Specialist - MidwestGailey Eye Clinic - Bloomington, Illinois(Privately owned practice - Not run by private equity or other health care entity.)Gailey Eye Clinic is seeking a Vitreoretinal Specialist to join our established and busy Ophthalmology practice in Central Illinois. Physician would be based at our home office in Bloomington, IL, or our Peoria, IL satellite location. Physician would be expected to cover one or two satellite offices, along with their home base site. The successful candidate will be one who interacts well with others and enjoys seeing patients in a technician-assisted setting.· Our current provider group consists of four Comprehensive Ophthalmologists, one Medical Retinal Specialist, one independently contracted Vitreoretinal Specialist, and six internal Optometrists.· Not only would the candidate receive referrals from virtually all our sites but would also be kept busy with many outside referral sources. The candidate would be able to practice comprehensive retinal subspecialty medicine, including much needed injection and laser services.· Low demand call responsibilities with a technician supported screening system that determines if calls are truly urgent and in need of retina attention or can be fielded by the on-call primary eye care provider.· Compensation: guaranteed base salary of $600,000 - $700,000 (depending on experience), Incentive bonus giving over $1M potential, $45,000 signing bonus, partnership track, relocation allowance, and an excellent benefit package including health/dental/life insurance, 401(k) plan with employer profit share, short-term and long-term disability insurance, CME allowance of $3,000/annually, paid vacation, and paid malpractice insurance.About Gailey Eye Clinic:Gailey Eye Clinic is an 82-year-old renowned physician-owned, multi-location vision care practice in Central Illinois.
