is looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented individual to join our work family as a Restoration Specialist. Restoration Specialists work in homes and businesses that have been damaged by water, mold, or weather. They extract water, clean or remove carpet, repair structures that have been damaged by mold, decontaminate and deodorize a space, and remove debris. Technicians will be responsible for building lasting relationships with our customers while assessing damaged properties to see what can be saved, cleaning damaged properties, removing and replacing damaged materials, and sanitizing and restoring homes and businesses so they can return to normalcy.We will provide you with
hands-on PAID training , a
company vehicle
to travel to customers within the territory, and a
company phone
will be provided following training. Most work will be performed in
teams
to ensure completion of all work orders on time.Benefits:
Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, life insurance, Holiday and vacation pay, on-the-job training, growth opportunities.Restoration Specialist Responsibilities:Acquire basic background and knowledge in water damage and restoration, extraction, containment, and mold.Develop an understanding of technical construction skills, including but not limited to drywall, doors, windows, flooring, trim, cabinets, paint, roofing, siding, plumbing, framing, etc.Develop knowledge of cleaning equipment and removal procedures.Earn certifications in various areas of expertise needed to work in the field.Adhere to personal safety standards by wearing the appropriate protective gear and using the right equipment.Understand and utilize all company software to assist in the completion of job tasks.Assess damaged properties to see what can be saved.Clean and store damaged property until they can be returned to the home.Remove damaged materials, such as wallboards and wood material.Handle any issues caused by water damage, including drying out the area and removing mold.Sanitize structural features that can be saved.Explain job specifications and progress on each work order.Duties will include response to emergency water damage claims and other restoration-related activities including initial job-site inspection, secure jobs fast, and perform structural drying per the IICRC standards.Restoration Specialist Requirements:Strong customer service skills and ability to handle challenging situations professionally.Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.Strong communication, listening, and math skills.Ability to use and knowledge of basic hand tools.Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and on call.Willing to learn various cleaning techniques including but not limited to carpet, wood, tile and grout, upholstery, natural stone, concrete, HVAC/air ducts, and restoration.IICRC certifications desired: WRT, ASD, and AMRT.Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.Valid Driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record check.
