Under the direct supervision of the Title Branch Manager, the Business Development Representative conducts real estate settlements, market title services throughout the territory and ensures compliance in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations.Job Duties and Responsibilities

Please refer to manager or human resources for specific duties and performance expectations of the position.Build and maintain relationships with prospects, existing customers, Real Estate brokerages, Realtors and lenders.Increase market share within the assigned regionDemonstrate knowledge of RGS Title, as well as competitors’ products and services;Develop leads and sales opportunities and follow through with defined sales plan;Report business development and sales activity;Represent RGS Title in the market and at industry events;Promote open communication maintain mutually beneficial, productive internal relationships;Offer real estate educational seminars for brokers and realtors.Adhere to company policies and procedures and perform other duties as requested or assigned.Performance ExpectationsMeet all performance and behavior expectations outlined in the company performance appraisal form or communicated by management.Perform responsibilities as directed achieving desired results within expected time frames and with a high degree of quality and professionalism.Establish and maintain positive and productive work relationships with all staff, customers and business partners.Demonstrate the behavioral and technical competencies necessary to effectively complete job responsibilities. Take personal initiative for technical and professional development.Follow the company HR Policy, the Code of Business Conduct and all subsidiary and department policies and procedures, including protecting confidential company information, attending work punctually and regularly, and following good safety practices in all activities.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required;Experience:3-5 years title and closing sales experience, real estate background preferred.Knowledge and Skills:Self-starter with good follow-through skillsSocial Media Savvy; proficient with establishing and maintaining a marketing database platform;Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook;Possess working knowledge of RESPA and other federal, state and industry compliance requirements;Strong customer service, communication, organization and analytical skills with attention to detail.Other (licenses, certifications, schedule flexibility/OT, travel, etc.):Notary Public Certification Preferred;Possess and maintain valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.Reliable vehicle and ability to travel on a daily basis through assigned territory on a scheduled or unscheduled basis.Title Insurance License with ability to obtain appointment with company underwriterBenefits:
