Product Manager, Customer Data

to join our team. This position is responsible for leading Marketing’s contributions to product development, marketing strategy, data analytics requirements, and technology implementation, mainly focusing on integrating Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) into our ecosystem and managing other MarTech related to customer accounts, customer data, and buying groups.ResponsibilitiesWorks with cross-functional teams to jointly manage the architecture and vendors, creating and keeping up-to-date the technology roadmap for the Marketing Customer Data Platform.Plans and manages the strategy and projects for advancing Marketing Customer Data Platform offerings.Facilitates requirement workshops with business stakeholders for omni-channel engagement strategies.Maintains strong relationships with stakeholders and acts as the primary contact for Marketing’s customer data initiatives.Oversees the creation and management of attributes, campaign audiences, and audience journeys in the Marketing CDP.Ensures proper activation of audiences across marketing channels.Collaborates with IT & Operations to develop integration endpoints with clear user stories.Partners with technology teams to build proofs-of-concept for new solutions.Trains and supports marketing stakeholders on Marketing CDP usage.Advocates for customer data, buying group, and organizational/account data capabilities within the organization.Aligns projects and timelines with strategic goals, partnering with engineering, marketing, digital, product, analytics, and data science teams.Provides MarTech domain expertise to guide the execution of the MarTech roadmap for customer data.Leads the selection, implementation, and adoption of customer data related platforms.Evaluates new technologies to enhance digital marketing efforts and customer messaging.Educates stakeholders on leveraging customer data for omni-channel engagement.Develops customer data model requirements and collaborates with analytics and data engineering teams.Acts as the primary Marketing point of contact for the CDP vendor.Serves as the liaison between Marketing and IT, overseeing bug fixes and platform improvement requests from the Marketing teams.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, MIS, Computer Science, a related field, or four years of related work experience is required.Three to five years of product management experience, with at least three years in project management is required.Advanced experience with CDP configurations.Background in marketing technology process design and implementation.Strong focus on customer needs and deep technical expertise.Proven ability to take ownership and drive results.Exceptional communication, collaboration, and project management skills.Experience in requirements gathering, writing functional specifications, and user stories.At Insperity, we celebrate the diversity of our employees and our leadership.
