Crown Reef ResortMinimum Qualifications:The ideal candidate for this position will have prior hotel or resort experience.How Will You Shine?As a valued and successful Assistant General Manager, you will be required to:Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics, which inspire employees to meet and maintain a thorough knowledge of all rooms, Food and Beverage, and all other departments’ Standard Operating Procedures.Ensure adherence to the Guarantee of Fair Treatment, Harassment Policy, and all company policies.Work hand in hand with the General Manager to guide department leads in running a successful, effective, and family culture department.Provide a professional image for our guests by keeping a proper attitude toward co-workers, promoting teamwork, and helping to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all areas of the resort.Continually communicate with the property’s General Manager regarding the operation, forecasts, revenues, special events, exceptions or changes to budget, and any pertinent information that impacts the financial success of the properties.Ensure good safety practices of employees and guests throughout the property assisting in the maintenance of proper emergency and security procedures. 100% compliance with OSHA and MSDS.Ensure compliance with all VMB resorts Company policies and procedures.Monitor budget to ensure efficient operation and to ensure expenditures stay within budget limitations.Assist in purchasing and the development of purchasing standards for all departments as requested.Respond to all guest-related correspondences.Analyze property position requirements to hire and retain adequate staff in conjunction with the Human Resources Department.Develop, implement, and maintain continuity with established timelines across all departments.Ensure that all Guests Service: Deliver the best service, quality, and value to every team member, manager, and guests, always.Personally demonstrate a commitment to colleagues & guest service by soliciting for and responding promptly to all social media sites and emails (respond to guest and colleague comments and feedback positively).Manage guest incidents and tend to emergencies.Perform all other duties as assigned by the General Manager.How Will You Be Rewarded?Base payPaid Time OffFloating Holiday PayMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance within 60 daysDiscounted hotel & resort staysWork today, get paid today availableCareer advancement opportunitiesTraining and continuing development in hospitality rolesWhy Should You Choose VMB?Hospitality is at the heart of all we do at Vacation Myrtle Beach.
