PJS is ever ready to dispatch customized travel itineraries 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year to any destination.Summary Of Position:We are seeking a Manager, Business Development to act as a liaison between the Marketing and Sales teams, overseeing a team who will generate, vet, and present new business leads. The Manager, Business Development will become an industry expert, familiarizing themselves with Elevate Aviation Group’s offerings. This position will be the first point of contact within the Business Development Representative (BDR) team as they work with potential customers. This position will interact closely with the President, PJS, Chief Sales Officer, VP of Sales, and Marketing leadership, among other internal leadership.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Establish and run weekly team meetings including: 1:1s with direct reports & check-in’s and/or check-out’s dailyFoster the full sales cycle and support rules of engagement from lead generation and qualifying to closing within internal partners across the EAG sales organizationBuild & iterate objection handling, cold call scripts, and value stories to effectively set meetingsCollaborate with sales enablement to build reports, dashboards, and tools to manage success of the team and organizationMonitor team member calls to provide a strong feedback loop for skill improvementUnderstand and pose discovery questions to assist the team with qualifying prospects and understand what products or services can be proposed to the prospective clientsReport to leadership weekly, monthly, and quarterly based on quotasRecruit, train and develop a high-performing teamIdentify and implement process improvement initiatives within the teamCreate new ideas for better time management within the BDR teamBecome an industry expert around aviation knowledge and practicesDevelop strong working relationships with cross functional teamsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Proficiency with Google Workspace and CRM Software including outbound software such as SalesLoft, Outreach.io, Reply.io, etc.Experience managing a team with high volume activitiesMust be comfortable with frequent cold calls to prospective clients and possess outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build strong business relationshipsAbility to effectively coach and mentor direct reportsAbility to collaborate with multiple internal teams while meeting team goalsExcellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentEducation & Experience:5+ years of experience in management overseeing sales, marketing and/or business development departmentBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent relevant experience requiredSchedule & Travel:Standard business hours are expected in this roleAbility to travel as required up to 10%Miscellaneous:FLSA Status- Full Time exemptLifting requirements- Up to 20lbs.About Elevate Aviation Group:Elevate Aviation Group, established in 2003, provides air transportation, travel consultancy, aircraft acquisitions and aircraft management services to some of the most recognized names in business, sports, entertainment, government, and higher education.
