This position will play a pivotal role in planning for all Mainline Leather categories of our business by working with both Direct to Consumer and wholesale cross-functional teams.Essential Responsibilities:Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts by SKU for a rolling 18 months.Partner with Sales, Retail, and Ecom teams to develop demand forecasts based on selling trends and promotional activities in order to achieve sales plans.Work with Supply planners to ensure proper flow and delivery of merchandise in a timely manner.Manage key metrics within OTB (WOS, sales, returns, markdowns/on order, and margins).Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams on risks and opportunities proactively.Conduct root cause analysis of forecast variances and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy.Facilitate regional inventory management strategy.Build and maintain various reports to assist in meeting sales objectives.Ad hoc special projects as needed.Your Skills:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Fashion Merchandising, or relevant major.3+ years of experience in planning, buying, or allocating.Proficient knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Google Enterprise products.Proven success with building strong cross-functional partnerships.Self-managing and proven success in planning, buying, or allocation in direct and indirect businesses.Driven and takes initiative.Displays efficiency, agility, and the ability to pivot quickly based on real-time changes in the business.Strong multi-tasking, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.The Perks:Comprehensive benefits package inclusive of health and well-being services.401(k) match and education on retirement planning.Paid parental leave for eligible employees, and a Return Back to Work program for new parents and caregivers to phase back into work on a reduced schedule.Generous Paid Time Off including Floating Holidays, Volunteer Time, and Summer Flex Fridays.Hybrid working schedules.Tuition Reimbursement on approved programs.Fossil Merchandise Discounts.Accommodations Statement:We are committed to creating an inclusive culture and strongly encourage candidates of color, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and non-binary people, veterans, parents, and individuals with disabilities to apply.
