Job DescriptionDewberry is seeking an
Environmental Compliance Specialist
with 1-4 years’ experience to be located in our
Parsippany, NJ
office. The candidate should have some experience with RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, and the CAA regulatory requirements. The candidate should be capable of supporting complex environmental audits, preparing regulatory plans, preparing permit applications, and performing regulatory negotiations. The candidate should have good communication skills (verbal and written).This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join a team of outstanding professionals. Works in a timely fashion to meet project, client and/or regulatory deadlines and project budgets.Communicates effectively with coworkers, sub consultants, and county/agency review staff.Composes technical reports, memorandums, and other written communication such as email.Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.Ability to work long hours and be on call to accommodate the second (and third shifts), if necessary.Effective communicator (verbal and written) with team building skills.Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, science, or related field.*At this time, Dewberry will not sponsor a new applicant for work authorization.*Dewberry is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
