Position Overview

The Implementation Project Manager is responsible for both partnering with the Director Implementation and working independently/mostly autonomous to ensure smooth implementation of services for new accounts and the installation of expanded services for existing customers. Will work with internal and external teams to lead activities, manage timelines and expectations on all assigned projects.Key Responsibilities

Partner with and lead internal and external business and technical teams to ensure smooth implementation of new ZELIS accounts and/or new products with existing Zelis accounts.Coordinate and assist with the management of implementation activities, including but not limited to the management of schedules, resource allocation needs, and deliverables for specific accounts.Accountable for communication both internally and externally around the activity and the fulfillment of all requirements per the contract with partners and clients.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define the scope of work in all stages of implementation; noting customizations, routing rules, technical requirements, and other business needs identified during the implementation process.Provide status reports via defined Zelis application as well as customized reporting as requested.Proactively investigate and develop improvements for existing processes or develop new processes; identify new areas of opportunity consistent with strategy.Partner with Operations to advise of new client setup and other relevant matters surrounding implementation.Partner with Sales and Account Management with implementation activities from kickoff to post-production handoff of client.May assist with the analysis of new accounts and expansions.Maintain and establish standard project plans for any assigned implementation and project work.Work on complex issues requiring in-depth analysis.Independently work closely with internal PMO and Operations teams to ensure proper subject matter expertise is available to support the implementation process.Work closely with the EDI team during the implementation process to ensure EDI workflow is defined and executable.Interact and collaborate with Adjudication Partners as applicable related to the implementation of mutual clients.Maintain awareness of and ensure adherence to ZELIS standards regarding privacy.Domestic travel up to 25%.Provide project management SME expertise to other PMs and cross-functional stakeholders.Supply project planning, documentation, and cross-functional relationship solutions to other project managers.Can successfully maneuver through ambiguous situations and lead the team to an objective deliverable.Knowledge, Skills and Experience

10+ years experience in Healthcare is required.Expert Experience in Implementation or Account Management.Electronic claim processing knowledge.Experience working with healthcare claim adjudication partner vendors.Solid ability to create project plans, gather requirements, and adhere to project plans/timelines.Expert Proficiency in partnering with IT for new vendor implementation and creation of new EDI interfaces.Expert organizational skills in working with multiple departments.Knowledge of core business products and services within the claim administrator, claim software space.
