This role provides sales leadership, through their own production, as well as the oversight of sales and services tasks, and works closely with key partners to achieve sales and service objectives while maintaining operational integrity.Essential Functions:Manage the branch service, sales and operations functions to achieve the strategic goals of the branch in coordination with a Branch Manager or Business Center Manager.Perform tasks and/or regularly make substantially weighted recommendations regarding interviewing, selecting, hiring, performance evaluations, advancement and termination of employees.Train, coach and mentor employees.Provide leadership and training for the sale and referral of bank products and services.Resolve and respond to client service issues, complex client complaints and questions.Direct the work of managed employees, including scheduling and setting hours of work.Maintain production or sales records for supervision and/or performance management of employees, appraising employee productivity and efficiency.Recommend promotions or other changes in employee status, handle employee complaints and grievances, discipline employees, apportion the work and determine approaches used by employees to do assigned tasks.Ensure compliance with/adherence to safety and security protocols.Monitor and/or implement legal compliance measures, ensuring the branch/business center is in compliance with all bank policies and procedures.Approve teller transactions as needed.Prepare the branch/business center for audits and work with audit staff to resolve any issues identified.Provide sales leadership through own production, as well as oversight of sales and services tasks.Work closely with key partners to achieve sales and service objectives and maintain operational integrity.Monitor and ensure compliance with policy and the company’s risk appetite.Implement management procedures and operating practices and commit the branch/business center in matters of significant financial impact.Have discretion to perform approvals and overrides within their authority.Qualifications:High school diploma and 2+ years' experience in retail banking, sales, new accounts, customer service, loan processes or other directly related experience.A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.Knowledge of the banking industry, processes, procedures, regulations and products.Knowledge of lending process and procedures.Strong customer service, relationship building, sales and management skills.Able to handle various client concerns and problems.Good communication skills, both verbal and written.Knowledge of computer programs, i.e. word processing, spreadsheets etc.Ability to set and maintain high quality work standards.Ability to lead a group.Ability to deal effectively with people in various job capacities.Excellent problem solving and communication skills.This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $50,000 - $81,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.This position will be open until filled.All candidates, including those with criminal histories will be considered for employment.
