We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) and the Bell 360 Invictus Future Attack and Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA), part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless, Bell’s Autonomous Pod Transport (APT), and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next-generation stop-fold tiltrotor.
CAD PLM Engineer Business Analyst
Bell, Textron Inc. utilizes Dassault Systems’ ENOVIA & CATIA V6 as well as 3DExperience for Product Lifecycle Management, Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing.
Bell is seeking a self-motivated Engineer to join our Engineering Design System’s organization to assist in technical development and end user support of the platform of solutions from Dassault Systems.
The primary function is to support the designers on the suite of tools to support the product definition of our aircraft. The candidate will help incorporate best practices through leveraging industry knowledge, in-depth technology product knowledge, and business acumen.
What you will be doing as a CAD PLM Engineer:
Provide end user mentoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
Work in collaboration with IT for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
Resolve escalated application issues and engage 3rd party support when necessary.
Work with the business to document business goals, recommend and implement solutions to meet those goals.
Provide training to users on the tool sets when needed.
Communicate with internal and external team members to ensure project alignment and success.
Support solution implementation and any tasks necessary to complete project deliverables.
Skills you bring to this role:
2+ years’ experience in design in aerospace and defense. Multiple levels of experience will be considered.
Highly proficient in the CATIA tool sets preferably in CATIA V6 and/or 3DExperience.
Proficiency in ENOVIA and/or 3DExperience Web.
PC proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Must have the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to coordinate and lead design activities and report status to management.
Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams to complete tasks.
What you need to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree with a Major in Engineering (preferred Mechanical or Aerospace). Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.
