Higher-level educational institutions include private Berry College and Shorter University, and the public Georgia Northwestern Technical College and Georgia Highlands College.Largest city near the center of the triangular area defined by the Interstate highways between Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, and Chattanooga, TN.The role you’ll contribute:To deliver quality imaging by means of diagnostic imaging techniques to detect and map radioactive drugs in the human body. Nuclear Medicine Technologist administer radioactive pharmaceuticals to patients, then monitor the characteristics and functions of tissues or organs in which they localize.QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:EDUCATION, LICENSE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:High School Diploma or GEDGraduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine ProgramCertification by the ARRT or Certification by the NMTCBPrior Nuclear Medicine experience requiredBLS Certification at employment or within one month of employmentCurrent Certification from the ARRT, NMT Certification or NMTCB Certification
