is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for large-scale heavy civil construction projects in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Known for delivering high-quality projects in the heavy civil sector, the organization has a strong reputation for excellence, safety, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in leading the project team, taking initiative in managing information, establishing expectations, and maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.

Assemble and prepare comprehensive estimates, perform quantity takeoffs, and evaluate bids; clarify specific information and assumptions as needed.

Prepare accurate and concise contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.

Review subcontractor submittals, ensuring conformance with contract documents.

Identify business development opportunities, follow up on bids, and assist in negotiating and closing deals.

Manage multiple projects at various stages, applying strong knowledge of construction trades and processes.

Skills & Qualifications:

B.S. in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or any related field.

3+ years of experience in the construction industry.

Experience in civil or heavy civil projects is a plus.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate with and delegate tasks to team members.

Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other tools used for communication and project management.
