Demand PlannerThe Demand Planner is responsible for accurately forecasting product demand and managing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory. Demand Forecasting:Use statistical models, historical data, and market insights to predict product demand across various dimensions.Inventory Management:Monitor and manage inventory levels, recommending replenishment schedules to balance stock levels and meet customer demands.Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with sales, marketing, production, and supply chain teams to align on demand forecasts and optimize inventory strategies.Data Analysis:Analyze demand patterns, sales data, and market trends to refine forecasting models and identify improvement opportunities.Forecast Accuracy:Maintain and improve forecast accuracy metrics by optimizing forecasting processes.Risk Management:Identify potential risks in forecasting (e.g., seasonality, market fluctuations) and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.Communication:Communicate demand forecasts and inventory recommendations clearly to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.Continuous Improvement:Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and market dynamics to continuously improve processes.Preferred Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or a related field (preferred).Experience in demand planning, inventory management, or a related role, ideally in manufacturing.Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and demand planning software.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Detail-oriented with a focus on data-driven decision-making.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
