What you will be doing:

Cultivate strong, trusting relationships through the handling of inbound request and proactive outbound service activities.

Explain or recommend insurance coverages, policy terms, and endorsements, ensuring policies match the client's needs and they understand the value of their coverages.

Analyze client data and identify potential risk factors that may lead to policy cancellations or non-renewals.

Collaborate with at-risk clients to review their existing insurance policies, identify areas for policy modifications, and facilitate policy rewriting as needed.

Assist clients in shopping for replacement insurance policies by obtaining quotes from multiple carriers, conducting comparisons, and recommending the most suitable options.

Review non-renewal notices received from insurance carriers and work with clients to lift the non-renewal or rewrite the policy.

Assist in the manual renewal process of policies such as personal umbrella and liability insurance which require client outreach and new applications at each term.

Document all client correspondence in Veruna.

Ensure that QA metrics are met regarding client satisfaction and call management.

Maintain records according to agency standards, ensuring that procedures are properly followed, and that information is accurately documented.

Meet or exceed target retention goals.

Perform other duties, as assigned.

What you already have:

Education, Experience, and Licensing:

High School diploma required.

2+ years' experience in a customer service, retention-focused role required.

2+ years' experience in the Property & Casualty Homeowner's insurance industry required.

440 License required.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Deep knowledge of personal lines insurance products.

Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact on a professional level.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively.

Ability to work independently while effectively communicating with multiple teams.

Ability to focus on a specific task or multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.

Proven ability to be adaptable and flexible; adjusting to new requirements or unforeseen issues.

Ability to collaborate with internal departments to provide the best resolution.

Proficient in MSO/365 applications such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
