Summary:The Business Intelligence Analyst II provides data analytics and visualization services to Harbin Clinic. The analyst is responsible for creating interactive visualizations, reports, and dashboards to support business decisions using a range of technology tools for many basic and routine requests. This role will collaborate with cross-functional units within the organization, including operations, financial, clinical teams, care coordination, and data analytic resources. Reports directly to the Business Intelligence Lead.

Job Responsibilities:Responsible for creating various reports and dashboards using business intelligence platforms, such as Tableau and MS Excel.Follows the established process for analytics requests, communicating effectively with requesters to ensure that the requirements are documented and understood, including the business purpose of the analysis.Completes thorough peer review ensuring accuracy and validity of work.Manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.Identify inconsistent practices within the organization and provide corrective guidance to maintain the integrity of systems.Identify and work with directors and/or managers on opportunities for continuous improvement and business enhancement.Assist the organization in special projects, such as evaluation of the financial impact of new programs or physicians; formulating financial forecast and modeling; preparing projections for new building projects; preparing analysis of new acquisitions; rate analysis and other projects as may be assigned.Conduct high-level analysis of metadata to identify areas of opportunity for utilization, performance improvement associated with initiatives, metrics, measures, or outcomes in the organization.Support completion of forecasting, annual budgets, operational improvement projects, surveys, and other initiatives as needed.Works collaboratively with other analysts to achieve department and organizational goals.Education Requirement:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Finance, or Health Administration (or related field) required.2-3+ years of decision support or financial analysis experience preferred.Skill Requirements:Must have strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and in practice management billing systems. Basic understanding of Microsoft Access preferred.Working knowledge of SQL required, knowledge of Tableau (or comparable BI tools) and data visualization experience required.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required. Ability to work independently, multi-task, exercise judgment, make decisions, and provide recommendations. Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize.Superior interpersonal skills, including excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to listen, research, and determine root cause of issues.
