Adaptive, CoupaJob Summary/Description:As a Risk Operations Analyst on our Risk Onboarding Team, you will be responsible for reviewing new and existing accounts for potential fraudulent activity while adhering to risk and compliance requirements. This role will include verifying the accuracy and authenticity of customer-provided information, documents, and identification through reliable sources and appropriate verification processes while establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Conduct KYC due diligence and fraud reviews when assessing new customer accounts for risk exposureContact customers as needed regarding missing documentation or clarification about verification documentsSuccessfully able to review and analyze newly onboarded customer accounts and relevant documentation in a high paced environment within established SLAsKeen eye to detecting red flags and making good judgment decision with minimal supervisionIdentify, research and highlight trends relating to risk management1-3 years of fraud and risk investigation operations experience preferably in ecommerce, payments or financial servicesStrong data analysis and investigative skillsPuts a high value on accuracy and completeness of work including case notes, customer due diligence, and fraud investigationsHas the ability to communicate clearly, and effectively with customers while investigating suspicious activityPossesses excellent organizational and time management skills – must possess ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting agreed upon deadlinesA proven ability to learn and adapt to new processes and follow standard operating proceduresExcellent problem solving skillsThrives in a fast pace environmentIndependent decision maker with the ability to confidently back up actionsThe staffing industry has seen an increase in people falsely representing themselves as recruiters to gather personal information from job seekers.
