Assistant Director of Nursing

Duties:- Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the organization- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Medicare and HIPAA- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care delivery- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a positive work environment- Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care provided- Conduct regular performance evaluations for nursing staff- Develop and manage the department budgetExperience:- Current RN license in good standing- Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and requirements- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy- Experience in hospice care and/or acute care settings preferredSkills:- Excellent leadership and management skills- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, patients, and families- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities- Knowledge of nursing home operations and best practices- Familiarity with electronic medical records systemsThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse leader to join our organization as the Director of Nursing.
