Title: Supply Chain Materials Management Co-op

Location: Arden Hills, MN

Duration: May - December 2025 (dates flexible)

Join the Materials Management team at Boston Scientific in Arden Hills, MN as a Supply Chain Co-op. Arden Hills produces both sterilized finished goods and sub-assemblies supporting the plant network, providing many unique challenges for Materials Management. You will have the opportunity to get real-world, hands-on experience while further developing your supply chain knowledge. Materials Management includes production planning, direct purchasing, and material handling, which all interact frequently with production. Be a part of a hard-working and fun team, while tackling challenging responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:Lead continuous improvement projects, such as:

Set service level and safety stock targets using historical supply and demand variation data

Healthy stock model data maintenance and reporting

Organize and enhance metric reports used during weekly and monthly performance checkpoints

Support procurement activities, including:

Direct and Indirect Ordering

PO Approvals and Scrap Transactions

SAP and SKU maintenance and updates

Troubleshoot Receiving errors by obtaining corrected paperwork, resolving quantity discrepancies, and identifying other issues preventing receipt of incoming product

Collaborate with Production Planning during monthly SI&OP completing build plan and scheduling production.

Qualifications:Current Bachelor's student in your Sophomore to Senior year or grad student. You can graduate during your Co-op term

Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management or related field

Be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction

Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook

Knowledge of MRP systems and lean manufacturing principles

Quality System Requirements:In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
