Position SummaryUnder the direction of the Manager of Supply Chain, manages system-wide inventory and logistic operations in support of CTTM Supply Chain strategies. Accountable for regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and financial integrity related to functions/actions performed within the realm of Receiving, Inventory, Department Stocking, Distribution, and Transportation of supplies and mail. Responsible for management of staff and implementation of sustainable improvement/results in the areas of storage cost reduction, compliance, customer/employee satisfaction, and process control.

Responsibilities

Hires, develops, and retains outstanding talent.

Assists Manager with establishing clear goals and objectives for staff to meet business targets.

Ensures metrics that are reflective of targets are met, and reviews them regularly with the team to monitor performance versus goals. Assigns ownership and holds staff accountable.

Leads by example, motivates, and inspires.

Ensures orientation and training of staff.

Prepares and delivers performance evaluations.

Prepares and manages operating budget for inventory, including capital budget. Partners with Finance to monitor financial performance and share it with staff. Reports performance to key metrics monthly.

Mentors staff in career growth and personal development.

Coordinates daily operational inventory team activities (receiving, inspection, put away, order picking, delivery) related to warehouse operations.

Maintains continuous communication with customers to ensure the accuracy of all transactions; monitors and ensures the resolution of customers’ requests and concerns.

Monitors receiving, inspection, inventory, documentation, and distribution of all regulated labels complying with First In First Out (FIFO), and First Expired First Out (FEFO) procedures.

Identifies and executes inventory programs/optimal inventory levels to ensure that quality materials are available to all business units in a timely manner to minimize overall supply cost.

Optimizes a timely and accurate selection of inventory to ensure internal customer order fulfillment.

Provides orientation, direction, and training for staff including daily work guidance and PTO coverage.

Promotes best practices and operational excellence within Inventory Management including identifying and leading Continuous Improvement projects.

Works with the Manager and Director, Supply Chain to define and develop system-wide inventory management strategy.

Promotes and maintains compliance with all QSD’s (Quality System Documents) and applicable standards and regulations; proactively anticipates changes to requirements and updates QSD’s as needed.

Serves as backup for receiving, inspection, and shipping functions.

Manages day-to-day warehouse/Inventory management operations.

Maintains required records, reports, and files as pertains to areas of responsibility.

Upholds and models exceptional customer service.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Complies with all policies and standards.

QualificationsEducation

Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Management.

Experience

4-6 years experience in supply chain inventory management required.

1-3 years leadership experience including some supervision of staff required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Expert knowledge of inventory management concepts in the areas of planning, controls, and quality required.

Ability to understand and communicate integrated supply chain and product distribution required.

Excellent skills in leading cross-business and cross-functional teams to deliver results required.

Excellent written and verbal communication and professional presentation skills required.

Ability to build strong, effective personal relationships as well as influence others required.

Strong detail orientation and analytical ability required.

Strong organizational skills with ability to manage operations in a fast-paced environment required.

Strong project management skills required.

Ability to function in a structured quality regulated environment required.

Proficient in computer applications necessary for position, including Microsoft Office required.
