Overview

This role is essential to the smooth operation of Sunday services, taking on more than just administrative tasks by coordinating Sunday and other events. As a part-time position, it primarily focuses on supporting Sunday worship as the main event, with lighter administrative support provided to key ministry leaders. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, possesses strong anticipatory skills, and a warm and welcoming demeanor. Central responsibilities include coordinating Sunday services, providing light administrative assistance to leadership, and managing key operational tasks to ensure everything runs seamlessly.

Role Highlights

Sunday Support

Support the needs of the directors and Lead Pastor on Sunday.

Coordinate special Lunches & Events held on Sundays.

Ensure everything is prepared and in place for Sunday.

Administrative Support to Lead Pastor, Worship Arts Director, & Outreach Director.

Coordinate Special Events hosted by Lead Pastor, Worship Arts Director, & Outreach Director.

Calendaring & Expense Reconciliation for Lead Pastor, Worship Arts Director, & Outreach Director.

Support administratively (as requested) the Lead Pastor, Worship Arts Director & Outreach Director.

Attend pertinent meetings.

Light communications support.

Administrative Support of Office Operations

Assist with administrative and clerical functions associated with running the front office of the church.

Answer phones, check general email and forward appropriately.

Monitor supply inventories and order as necessary including snack and beverage inventory.

Operate a variety of standard office machines.

Manage maintenance of office equipment including supplies.

Organize monthly staff events.

Support with getting out weekly church bulletin & E-mail Newsletter.

Coordinating mailings & light communications support.

1-3 years Administrative experience.

Church Organizational experience a plus.

Works with: Operations Manager, Lead Pastor, Worship Arts Director, Outreach Director.

Reports to: Operations Manager.

Hours: Up to 24 hours per week.

Schedule: Sunday and Tuesday In Office (flexibility on hours & Days).
