Back Office Supervisor

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Back Office Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing operational processes for our multispecialty medical practice, which includes Psychology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), Neurology, and Psychiatry departments. This on-site role will be responsible for managing medical assistants and collaborating with medical directors to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality patient care.DutiesOversee and coordinate daily operations of the back office across all specialty departmentsSupervise, train, and evaluate medical assistants and other support staffCollaborate with medical directors to implement and maintain clinical protocols and proceduresEnsure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standardsManage inventory of medical supplies and equipmentCoordinate patient flow and optimize scheduling processesAct as a liaison between clinical staff, administrative staff, and patientsImplement and monitor quality improvement initiativesAssist in the development and management of departmental budgetsParticipate in hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of back office staffAddress and resolve patient complaints and concernsMaintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentationAny and all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.SkillsBachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field (Master's degree preferred)Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory roleStrong knowledge of medical office procedures and healthcare regulationsExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsProficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office suiteAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentExperience in quality improvement and process optimizationFamiliarity with multiple medical specialties, particularly Psychology, PM&R, Neurology, and PsychiatryCompensationCompensation is commensurate with experience.
