As an Estimator/Scheduler, you will have the opportunity to work on transportation projects including Bus Rapid Transit, Light Rail Transit, and complex roadway/bridge projects. A candidate located in the Minneapolis metro area is preferred, but a hybrid or even fully remote position will be considered to find the best candidate. Growth opportunities include leading estimate/schedule efforts, training/developing younger staff, and implementing new strategies.Responsibilities:Prepare estimates/schedules at all project levels including conceptual, 30/60/90 percent design and during constructionDevelop estimates/schedules for use in all areas of business linesUtilize major software tools such as HCSS Heavy Bid, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, AGTEK, Trimble Business Center, Primavera P6 and Acumen. Understanding and fluency in those software tools preferred, but training will be provided upon hireDevelop project estimates/schedules in accordance with company standardsUse strong interpersonal skills in client interactionsAbility to maintain budget for workAdditional duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Related 2- or 4-year degree, OR 2+ years' relevant experience without degreeAACE International certifications preferred, other Cost or Schedule certifications may be consideredContractor project experience, heavy civil experience preferredPrior MnDOT experience in cost and schedule functionsFluency in all phases of design development, construction, environmental and planning effortsStrong ability to understand cost/schedule/risk relationshipsAbility to promote and perform in a team environmentAbility to support conceptual cost efforts for transportation projectsAbility to build cost estimates and schedules from the beginning stageAbility to write Basis of Estimate/Schedule to AACE International standardsGreat transparency in work productStrong communication skills and ability to successfully interact with clientsVisa sponsorship is not available for this position.SRF Consulting Group, Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
