Position Overview:As an AV Design Consultant, you will play a critical role in designing and specifying AV systems that meet the needs of our client's diverse customer base. You will be responsible for understanding client requirements, developing detailed design solutions, and ensuring that all systems are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. You will collaborate closely with the sales, engineering, and project management teams to deliver world-class AV solutions.

Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with clients to understand their AV needs and translate them into detailed design specifications.Create and develop AV system designs, including schematic drawings, signal flow diagrams, and equipment lists.Work closely with the sales team to provide technical support during the proposal and bidding process.Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards and best practices, as well as client-specific requirements.Collaborate with engineers and project managers to oversee the implementation of AV designs, ensuring that installations meet design intent.Conduct site surveys and work with clients to refine designs based on site-specific conditions.Stay current with emerging AV technologies and trends to provide innovative solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:5+ years of experience in AV design, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.In-depth knowledge of AV systems, including video conferencing, digital signage, sound systems, and integrated control systems.Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD,

Revit , or similar tools.Strong understanding of AV signal flow, acoustics, and system integration.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Experience working with industry standards and protocols (e.g., AVIXA, CEDIA).Relevant certifications (e.g., CTS-D, CTS-I) are highly desirable.
