Claims Consultant

Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced
Claims Consultant
to manage and resolve insurance claims effectively, ensuring compliance with building codes, manufacturing specifications, and best construction practices. The ideal candidate will have expertise in using Xactimate, demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills, and excel in collaborating with project managers. This position is based in our Davenport, Iowa office.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and process insurance claims by reviewing building codes, manufacturing specifications, and construction practices to formulate accurate scopes of work.Prepare and present detailed scopes of work to claims adjusters to facilitate agreement on claims resolutions.Utilize Xactimate software to generate precise estimates for repairs and replacements.Work closely with project managers to ensure alignment between claims processes and project execution.Maintain meticulous records of all claims-related documentation and correspondence.Communicate effectively with insurance adjusters, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely claims processing.Stay informed on industry developments, building codes, and construction methods to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in a Claims Consultant role or similar position within the construction or roofing industry.Proficient in Xactimate software for estimating and claims management.Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, manufacturing specifications, and construction methods.Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple claims simultaneously.Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.Proven ability to collaborate effectively with project managers and other key stakeholders.Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and thoroughness.
CompensationThe position offers a competitive salary of $60,000 per year, with additional performance-based bonuses.
