Job Description
Responsible for the full lifecycle from requirements gathering to implementation of SAP S/4HANA MM functional solutions.
Manages projects by identifying, developing, and implementing techniques to improve engagement productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings for clients.
As an SAP MM consultant, you will participate in SAP implementation & rollout projects or SAP support & maintenance projects within the logistics functional area or support pre-sales activity. Based on user requirements analysis, you will prepare functional design and specifications, system configuration, perform relevant testing, and deployment of the designed business solution.
Understand configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and provide expertise into the definition and resolution of issues in this area. Conduct or participate in user requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation designs.
Develop a detailed plan of process implementation and demonstrate profound knowledge of modeling standards and tools.
The job entails an extensive amount of travel and requires sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. You should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
Education and Qualification
In addition to having successfully completed a minimum of 2 full lifecycle projects experience in the role of functional MM consultant, the successful candidate will have at least 4+ years of experience in SAP MM skills.
At least 4+ years of experience in Development/Configuration/solutions evaluation/Validation and deployment.
Must have 2 full lifecycle project experience in the role of SAP S/4 HANA functional MM consultant.
Experience with Activate Methodology and/or Solution Manager is mandatory.
Formal MM training and/or certification is a plus.
Customizing of SAP MM, defining and executing test scenarios, training of key-users and/or business users, and application management of the SAP S4 HANA.
Must be familiar with Supply Chain business models.
ABAP development skills and debug knowledge are a plus; strong analytical skills are required.
Experience working in a support environment with onsite/offshore model, aware of support processes like Incident management, Problem Management, and SLA management.
SAP PP/QM/SD/PS product knowledge is a plus.
Must possess strong communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the client company.
Experience with project management is a plus.
