Sr. Program & Curriculum Specialist, Project Management

will support the design and direction of ed2go Programs. Collaborating in partnership with product managers, instructional designers, content managers, and other colleagues, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of innovative, high-quality educational products and ensure timely support to internal and external partners.This is a part-time, salaried position with an anticipated schedule of 25 hours per week.What you'll do here:Course Support and DevelopmentAssist in liaising between instructors and the Content maintenance team for updates and revisions as needed for each course.Perform formal reviews of course content to maintain relevance and adherence to current requirements, certifications, and industry standards.Work as the knowledge expert on new course developments and course spin-offs.Product Operations SupportHelp facilitate the product launch process, assist new instructors, respond to queries, and support in hosting webinars.Roadmap PlanningSupport planning processes to ensure courses meet high-quality standards.Assist in conducting competitor course reviews and collaborate with the product team to understand and predict trends and participate in refining product strategies.Work closely with product managers to complete product strategy documents, identifying advisory board members, and preplan for examination changes, textbooks, and changes in other course assets.Engagement and OutreachAttend internal sales training sessions to enhance employee understanding of course content and associated careers.Participate in hosting webinars for prospective students to help them determine if enrolling is the right decision for them.Support Cengage Work cross-functional teams in efforts to maintain exam pass and course completion rates and obtain feedback from employers.Help with B2B customer-facing presentations and engagements to foster program adoption and alignment with industry regulations.Support B2B contacts for course evaluations, endorsements, advisor selection, and community outreach efforts.Instructional SupportUnderstand instructor responsibilities and facilitate sessions for assigned students.Assist in course instruction oversight by moderating discussion boards, responding to student inquiries, and providing feedback on assignments.Help maintain course quality and instructor support.Review survey feedback, ratings, discussion area posts and communicate results and feedback to the instructors.Assist in managing and relaying program details, including post-completion steps such as preparation tools for certification exams and job placement.Team MemberParticipate in department activities (team meetings, projects, social activities), attend "run-the-business" meetings, and embody the Cengage Ethos and Credo.Skills you will need here:RequiredAssociate's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related fieldPMI PMP, or CAPM certification2-3 years experience in a Project Management capacity, or similar professional role1 year people management experience1-2 years instructing experience in person and/or onlineExperience creating student-facing educational contentThorough, focused, and applies a collaborative approach to workWillingness and ability to learn new technologies and platformsSuperior collaboration and communications skills!PreferredBachelor's degree in Project Management or related fieldFamiliarity with metadata tagging and accessibility standardsExperience participating in the development of educational videosKnowledge of learning design and instructional design methodologiesThe salaried compensation range for this part-time position is $38,867.00 - $62,133.00CompensationAt Cengage Group, we take great pride in our commitment to providing a comprehensive and rewarding Total Rewards package designed to support and empower our employees.Cengage Group is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
