If you're looking to join agrowing company led by passionate people committed to being the best - contactThe Spirit of the Position:The Operations Manager oversees the operation of the Denver Airport parkingunder the direction of the Assistant General Manager to ensure 24/7professional parking management and operational excellence. The operationsmanager supports the operational team to ensure the parking operation isrunning as expected, ensures all dept are successful in completing dailytasks and duties and help coach, train and improve areas of opportunity.As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused servant leadershipculture, the operations manager will support the programs and initiativesoriginating from our local and home office and help support the individualneeds of their operational teams throughout their assigned location.Principal Job Duties:- Manage and ensure daily business operation performs as expected;understand and report any anomaly that may occur that would impede usualbusiness practices and flow.- Promote and train first-class customer service.- Lead, direct, and develop a team of employees to accomplish daily tasksand duties that will ensure daily reporting to the city meets contractualobligation and compliance- Identifying high-potential employees to support the organization'scontinued growth.- Assist with the management and development of staff to accomplish annual andperiodic goals/initiatives, while embodying and using LAZ Parking'sculture as a guideline.- Identify, develop and modify procedures that improve efficiency andworkplace safety.- Manage the planning, scheduling, training, and directing of activitiesfor the front-line staff, leads and supervisors to ensure expectations aremet.- Administer and assist in proper time entries into payroll system, payrollprocessing; ensuring sign off of electronic timecards on a weekly basis;collaborating with the local payroll department to ensure pay data iscompleted properly.- Work with Human Resources to ensure proper wage and hour compliance.- Assist in producing and delivering Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annualoperational and financial reports as required.- Managing, planning, scheduling, training, and directing the staffactivities, which may require compliance with the Collective BargainingAgreeme- Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives thatmay arise from the operation of the assigned portfolio.- Communicate with airport police department and emergency management teamsregarding operations.- Additional related duties as assigned.Skills & Requirements:Ability to seek improvement and create an environment of idea sharing andcreative problem solving.Strong customer service skills and abilities.Ability to identify areas of improvement and implement collaborative changesAbility to be approachable and facilitate coaching conversations withemployees and managers.Ability to mitigate and lead others to overcome challenges (Never EverGive Up Attitude).Ability to encourage open expression of ideas and opinions.Excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and multi-task.Identify and mitigate business and workplace risksAbility to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of theorganization.Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and s andard business practices.Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.Must be able to clear and maintain airport badging requirements.Must meet required speaking and listening skills assessment levelPhysical Demands:Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must bemet by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of thisjob.
