Join our Environment and Health department as our new Managing Consultant to address our client’s various ecological, environmental and health needs and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.Your new roleRamboll is a leading scientific environmental consulting firm providing a broad range of technical services to both public and private sector clients. We are seeking motivated and qualified candidates to join our team in Portland, Maine as an environmental Managing Consultant and project manager with experience in data analytics. Our team of environmental consultants supports clients with a wide range of environmental issues, including management of contaminated sites, source identification and litigation support. This position also includes monitoring and interpreting research and developments regarding emerging contaminants, including PFAS, to ensure Ramboll remains a leader in assisting our clients address emerging contaminants issues.Your key responsibilities will be:Database development and management, data analysis and visualization, data analytics and R code developmentStatistical analysesAssisting with chemical forensics evaluationsManaging quality assurance/quality controlProject Management**Extra emphasis will be placed on candidates with these skill sets with emerging contaminants, such as PFAS, experience.Practice or specialty areas may include:Expert Services (litigation support, or for senior candidates consulting and/or testifying expert)Statistical Analyses, including multivariate statistics, machine learning and other advanced statisticsEnvironmental Forensics (e.g., chemical fingerprinting, reconstruction of historical operations and releases, fate and transport analyses)Your new teamIn this role you will be part of a creative group, filled with people who are really excited about solving clients’ environmental problems and creating sustainable solutions for them. While we look forward to supporting your continued learning and development, for this role we have identified some qualifications, skills, and capabilities that will set you up for success.These include:Bachelor’s degree in relevant science or engineering discipline (e.g., ecological, environmental) with an emphasis in data science.
